Cutler Design is a small family run Business based in Trowbridge near Bath, established in 1990 initially to provide bodywork restoration and paint shop facilities for the classic car motor trade,

It wasn’t long before we became involved with private customers, interpreting their ideas and aspirations to produce very bespoke and individual vehicles.

Upgrading bodywork, interiors, suspension and engines we work alongside other specialist suppliers to produce exactly what you the customer require.

We generally have always chosen to work on interesting projects with either individual customers or companies in the motor trade with similar ideals.

One example of this was an independent Smart car importer for whom we developed a roof conversion, replacing its glass roof with a plastic moulding incorporating an electric folding sunroof.
Sunroof installations and convertible hood replacement have also been a large part of Cutler Design, where we offer a comprehensive range of original specification quality hoods, individually sourced from the best manufacturers, fitted in our workshop.
Currently we are very much involved in stretch limo / wedding car manufacture based on VW Beetles they are made to order and have proved very popular. In the coming weeks and months we have other exciting limo projects we are completing and will bring you more updates on this website soon.
